Two weeks since being in the studio and the change in mood/demeanour is palpable.

…little lost at the minute. There’s a fucked-up duality that’s a little mind bending to get to grips with. Certain aspects have been out of my control (studio space being commandeered for one).

What can I do to get out of this rut?

  • Write more - get thoughts / ideas down with a greater frequency.

  • Image gather and sketchbook work.

  • Prep studio for sessions.

  • Read more - set phone down and look.

Essentially, utilise time better. The irony.

Sifting through old photos.

…well rigidity is valid in some cases. Rigidity in the means of a working routine but avoiding it when exploring methods of work.

You always fill a cup the same way, it’s just the contents that changes. Possibly not the best analogy.
